I recently had the most fantastic experience leading a very special team-building workshop with Wunderdog Labs here in Málaga!
Imagine a group of incredibly smart tech professionals – developers, engineers, and designers – stepping away from their screens and picking up paintbrushes. That's exactly what happened, and it was pure joy (and a little bit of chaos, in the best way!).
The challenge: Three giant canvases!
The idea was to create something truly collaborative and unique for their office. We decided on a big challenge: three large-format canvases that would eventually hang together, telling a story of their team and their connection to Málaga.
It’s always so interesting to see how people approach a blank canvas, especially when their day job is all about logic and code. But what I discovered? Creativity lives in everyone!
Micro-stories from the studio (or, "the accidental masterpiece")
The energy in the room was electric. There were so many wonderful little moments.

The "Careful Creators": Some people started very carefully, almost scientifically, planning every stroke. They were applying their analytical minds to the art, which was fascinating to watch!

The "Bold Explorers": Others just dove right in, splashing colors and experimenting. They weren't afraid to make a "mistake" because they knew we were creating something together.

The "Unexpected Talent": And then there were the "aha!" moments. Someone who hadn't painted since childhood would try a brushstroke, and suddenly, something amazing would appear. It was like magic!
My favorite part was watching them interact. They weren't just painting; they were laughing, problem-solving together, and supporting each other. That's what true team building is all about.
From individual strokes to a shared vision
It was incredible to see how three individual canvases slowly started to connect and form one big, vibrant story. Each person contributed their unique style, but it all came together beautifully.
We talked about the colors of Málaga, the energy of their tech work, and what "team" truly means. The canvases began to reflect their collective personality – bright, dynamic, and full of passion.
A new art wall for Wunderdog Labs
By the end of the workshop, we had three incredible, one-of-a-kind artworks ready for their office.
They now have a stunning, colorful art wall that wasn't bought from a shop; it was created by them. Every time they look at it, they'll be reminded of that day, their teamwork, and their shared creative spirit.
It was such an honor to guide them through this experience. It's a powerful reminder that art isn't just for artists—it's for everyone, and it's an amazing way to connect.
