What a way to spend a Sunday!
Yesterday, December 14th, was a whirlwind of art, style, and Costa del Sol vibes. We traded our usual painting clothes for something a little nicer, loaded up the car until it was bursting—boxes of my hand-painted ceramics, tote bags, and prints—and hit the road toward Estepona.
We were heading to a very special holiday pop-up market.
The Vibe: Eva Estepona
If you haven’t visited the Eva Hotel yet, wow. It is such a stylish, chic spot right on the beach.
As soon as we arrived, the vibe struck me. From the beautifully designed reception area to the stunning restaurant looking out over the waves of the Mediterranean, the whole place feels incredibly cool and modern. It’s that perfect blend of relaxed beach luxury and high energy.
It was the absolutely perfect backdrop for a curated market.

Caviar, Candles, and DJs
This wasn't your average craft fair. The energy was incredible from the moment we set up.
There were DJs spinning great music that kept the atmosphere lively all day. The variety of things was amazing—I was surrounded by other beautiful stalls offering artisan candles, stunning flower arrangements, fine wines, and yes, even caviar!
It was a total feast for the senses. Great tunes, the smell of the sea mixed with scented candles, and beautiful things everywhere you looked.

Live Painting in the Scene
I didn't just want to stand behind a table selling my ceramics, though. I wanted to be part of the energy!
So, I set up a mini-studio right there in the middle of the action. I spent the afternoon live painting.
Inspired by the music, the chic surroundings, and the blue of the sea, I created a series of small, abstract postcards on the spot. It was so much fun to chat with guests as I worked, letting them watch the process and take home a fresh, unique piece of art made right there at the party.

It was a long day, hauling heavy bags of ceramics and standing on my feet, but it was fantastic. Connecting with new people in such a sophisticated, fun setting is what it's all about.
Thank you to the Eva Hotel for having us and to everyone who stopped by my stall!
See you at the next event!
